Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
CPT examines beliefs developed during and after trauma that stay with us and keep us stuck in the trauma. We re-work those beliefs to develop new, more helpful and balanced belief systems.

PE involves moving toward: toward things we've been avoiding in our lives, and toward memories and emotions we've been trying to push away. By gently and gradually building our ability to tolerate trauma-related content, uncomfortable symptoms reduce dramatically.
In EMDR, revisiting and recollecting your trauma is paired with bilateral stimulation (usually eye movements or tapping), which reduces the intensity of emotion and distress associated with the trauma.
